Close to the paiting, 'Lonely Land' reveals a sadness and lonely atmaphere. There is still some positive moral exist. For example, the last sentence 'broken by strength and still strong' showing strong and independence mind. It reveal a sight of hopeful. America is a new continent which was just discovered in that period of time. Eupean countries was eager to explore and colonize it. Canada was not a country that time. It contained poor propulation excapt few native people. It was not surrprised that the land was lonely.
